MomòRide goal is to promote sustainable mobility, particularly shared mobility among local workers, through a dedicated mobile app, monthly prizes, and group challenges.
The campaign begins on January 21 2026, and will run for two years.
The goal is to involve as many companies and workers as possible in improving the road and environmental situation in the Basso Mendrisiotto region through an incentive tool that rewards those who commit to car-sharing.
The initiative is free for participating users and for companies with fewer than 20 employees.

By joining the district carpooling project, your company helps reduce traffic and emissions, improves employee well-being, and strengthens its commitment to sustainability:
All companies located in the municipalities of Balerna, Chiasso, and Novazzano are invited to participate in the initiative. If your company is located elsewhere, visit the Supporters page page for more information.
Businesses with fewer than 20 employees receive free membership.
Companies with more than 20 employees receive a 40% discount on the Mobalt subscription required to participate in the project.
Companies can provide their staff with additional budgets, such as prizes with or without a draw for reaching targets, free parking for crews, or monetary incentives based on points earned.
You can do so in several ways:
Co-finance the MomòRide project
Provide a prize budget accessible to all participants
Promote communication to involve as many workers and companies as possible
MomòRide is a Project promoted by the municipalities of Chiasso, Balerna, and Novazzano in collaboration with the Regional Agency for the Development of Mendrisiotto and Basso Ceresio, lastminute foundation, the Pian Faloppia Economic Development Pole, and Mobitrends SA.
